November 10th 2008

At 4 am on November 10th I started feeling pretty harsh contractions. So, at 5 am when they were becoming constant, and not dying down, I decided to wake Logan up so he could hold my hand. By 6 am, Logan decided to call the doctor and she told us to come to the hospital (Roper Saint Frances, in Charleston,SC) so she could see if it was time. We both showered and arrived at the hospital around 7 am. I was scared that they were going to tell me that she was not ready, and they were going to send me back home. They checked me and we found out that I was 6 centimeters dilated, and only had 4 more to go! Logan then called MUSC to let them know he was not coming in, and then called my dad, his mom, and my mom to let them know it was time. I was not in much pain but the nurse suggested to go ahead with the epidural, so I did. In the meantime, we sat in the labor in delivery room watching The Price is Right and all my other morning shows. Then everyone arrived, and by 2pm it was time to push.
Adelaide Kay Ebersold then entered this world on November 10th 2008 at 3:19pm weighing 8 pounds and 4.6 ounces, measuring 20 and 1/4 inches. When Logan cut the umbilical cord blood sprayed everywhere and he jump. The rest of the day we had tons of guest and Addie met her Granddad("Pops") two of her Grandmothers, Aunt, two uncles, and two of Logans classmates.
